Why did you initially enrol on the barista training?

Just to build upon the knowledge I had and become better acquainted with the world of coffee as I haven’t been given the opportunity before.

Tell us about your experience with Boss & Brew Academy.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, besides from making coffee, learning its roots and the depth of history behind it, it makes provides meaning to the work I do, and shows that although I’m at the end result, there is a whole world of people it goes through before landing on my lap.

What have you been doing since the workshop?

Since I’ve done the course, I’ve gotten a job and have been enjoying it for the past six months. Seeing regulars makes me feel like I’m a part of the community and seeing new customers and them saying they enjoyed the coffee and thanking me, makes it worthwhile.
